Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the Confederation (Data Protection Act, DPA), every person has the right to protection of their privacy as well as protection against misuse of their personal data. We comply with these provisions. Personal data is treated as strictly confidential and is neither sold nor passed on to third parties, except to the hosting provider named below, which processes it on our behalf. In close cooperation with our hosting provider, we strive to protect the data as well as possible against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or falsification.

The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or email addresses) is collected on our pages, this is always done, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.

We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. communication by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

This website and its videos are delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (Cloudflare Pages and R2). With every request, Cloudflare processes technical connection data on our behalf, such as your IP address, the date and time, the requested address, and your browser and operating system. This data is needed to deliver the pages and videos and to protect the website against attacks. We do not use it to identify visitors.

Cloudflare may process this data outside Switzerland and the EU, in particular in the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the Swiss-U.S. and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the Swiss Federal Council and the European Commission have recognised an adequate level of data protection. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in delivering the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

This website sets a single cookie, “node-lang”. It is set only when you switch the language with the language links (English, Deutsch), stores nothing but the chosen language (en or de) and expires after one year. It is used only to open the start page in your language on your next visit, not for tracking.

This website uses no analytics or tracking tools, no advertising and no social media plugins. Fonts, images and videos are loaded from this website itself, not from third-party servers.
